A committee composed of the First Vice President of Iran, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, and the Director of Justice of Iran held a meeting on Monday (20th) to arrange the presidential election and decide on the registration period for presidential candidates from May 30 to June 3, and the campaign period on June 12 to June 27, with the presidential election scheduled for June 28.
The United Nations Security Council stood for a minute\’s silence before its meeting on Ukraine on Monday to pay tribute to Leahy, Iranian Foreign Minister Abdullahiyan and other victims of the helicopter crash.
According to the \”AFP\” report, NATO expressed condolences to Iran on Monday over the death of Leahy.
A NATO spokesperson said on the social platform
